Diolch am gymryd rhan yn ein harolwg / Thank you for taking part in our survey

Rydym eisiau dweud diolch yn fawr i bawb a gymerodd ran yn yr ymgynghoriad Teithio Llesol.

Cawsom dros 500 o ymatebion i’n cyfnodau ymgysylltu ac ymgynghori ar-lein ac ymwelodd bron i 3000 â’r wefan.

Mae eich adborth wedi bod mor bwysig ac wedi ein helpu i ddrafftio ein mapiau teithio llesol newydd.

Rhai o'r canlyniadau allweddol

Gwell llwybrau rhwng safleoedd preswyl, ysgolion cyfagos a safleoedd cyflogaeth.

Mae map rhwydwaith y dyfodol yn dangos cynnydd mewn llwybrau teithio llesol ar hyd coridor Ffordd Blaenau’r Cymoedd yr A465, sef lleoliad llawer o ddiwydiant gweithgynhyrchu Blaenau Gwent.

Mae llawer o'r rhwydwaith newydd arfaethedig naill ai'n llwybrau cerdded neu'n llwybrau a rennir. Mae llwybrau beicio yn unig yn gyfyngedig ym Mlaenau Gwent oherwydd ei dopograffeg a’r trefniant tref a phriffyrdd presennol, sy’n her i lwybrau beicio a’r canfyddiad o feicio ar gyfer teithio llesol.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the Active travel consultation.

We received over 500 responses to our online engagement and consultation phases and almost 3000 visited the web site.

Your feedback has been so important and has helped us to draft our new active travel maps.

Some of the key outcomes

Improved routes between residential sites, nearby schools and employment sites.

The future network map shows an increase in active travel routes along the A465 Heads of the Valleys Road corridor, which is where much of Blaenau Gwent’s manufacturing industry is based.

Much of the proposed new network is either walking routes or shared use routes. Cycle only routes are limited in Blaenau Gwent due to its topography and existing town and highway arrangement, which is a challenge to cycle routes and the perception of cycling for active travel.
